“The Gesture”
This sculpture represents a human hand raised in space, captured in a state of an open gesture. The work is made of steel wire using a spatial frame technique, with every joint hand-welded for structural precision. The height of the piece is 60 cm.
 CONCEPT
The hand does not belong to a specific person — it exists as an independent fragment of human presence.
It is a gesture that can carry multiple meanings:
invitation
acceptance
request
or a moment of inner openness
Its meaning is not fixed — it emerges through the viewer’s perception.
 FORM & MATERIAL
The transparent metal structure makes the hand simultaneously physically present and visually immaterial. It does not represent flesh — it reveals it as a system of lines and tension.
The base anchors the gesture in a moment of balance between upward motion and structural stability.
 OVERALL IMPRESSION
This work exists on the boundary between:
body and symbol
movement and stillness
presence and emptiness
The hand becomes not a part of the body, but an independent sign of human condition.
