The “Bastet” collection

The “Bastet” collection is an artistic reinterpretation of the goddess Bastet — a being traveling through time, cultures, and human destinies.
Each sculpture represents a different incarnation of the same soul, living through various roles, eras, and states of existence: wealth and poverty, power and loneliness, spirituality and temptation, tradition and modernity, inner strength and emotional loss.
Here, Bastet is no longer merely an ancient Egyptian deity. She becomes a reflection of humanity itself.
She is reborn through different cultures and social realities — as a wanderer, guardian, aristocrat, musician, merchant, monk, warrior, or simply an ordinary person among millions. Through these lives, she experiences the full spectrum of human existence: desire, fear, attachment, love, suffering, ambition, and the eternal search for meaning.
The central figure of the collection represents her final transformation.
Having renounced material existence and social identity, she arrives in the form of an enlightened masculine presence — a symbol of transcendence and completion. The symbolic ornaments upon his chest unite elements of multiple cultures and spiritual traditions, carrying traces of every past incarnation. He is no longer merely a god or a human being, but a state of consciousness beyond division — beyond male and female, poverty and wealth, past and future.
“Cats” is not a story about religion.
It is a story about consciousness, human nature, and the endless search for the self through the many faces of one soul.
